Who Shine is for
Shine is a free UK careers platform for 16 to 24 year olds. It is route-neutral: apprenticeships, T Levels, college, university, and going straight into work are all treated as real options, and the right one depends on you rather than on what scores best.
- School and college students in the UK deciding what to do after GCSEs or A levels.
- 16 and 17 year olds looking for a first part-time, weekend or summer job.
- 18 to 24 year olds starting a first full-time job, or changing direction after leaving one.
- Anyone under 25 who left a course, finished the wrong apprenticeship, or has not started yet.
- Parents, carers, teachers and advisers helping a young person weigh up the options.
