Can one academy see another academy's learners?

No. Each school or college sees its own linked learners. Trust-level views are aggregated, and groups smaller than five are suppressed. Data-sharing arrangements between academies remain the trust's responsibility under UK GDPR.

How is a trust priced?

Trusts, college groups and sites above 10,000 learners are priced by agreement. Book a call and we will scope the sites, learners and reporting you need.

Does Shine integrate with our MIS or Compass+?

Duties stay with each school or college

Under section 42A of the Education Act 1997, schools must secure independent careers guidance; section 42B requires them to give providers of technical education and apprenticeships access to pupils. DfE statutory guidance asks every school and college to work towards the Gatsby Benchmarks and to have a named Careers Leader. These duties sit with each institution, and Shine helps central teams see the evidence rather than discharging them.

Careers Hubs, supported by The Careers & Enterprise Company, bring schools and colleges together with employers. Shine is independent of The Careers & Enterprise Company and does not replace Compass or Compass+.
