Most apprenticeship and entry-level interviews in the UK use the same 12 questions, in different wording. Practice these and you'll walk in calm.

The 12

  1. Why this role?
  2. Why this company?
  3. Tell me about a time you finished something hard.
  4. What's a skill you've taught yourself?
  5. What's something you've failed at?
  6. How do you take feedback?
  7. Where do you want to be in 2 years?
  8. Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
  9. Tell me about a time you disagreed with someone.
  10. What do you do when you're stuck?
  11. What would your best friend say is your biggest weakness?
  12. Do you have any questions for us?

The one trick that works

For every behavioural question (1–11), use Situation → Task → Action → Result in 60–90 seconds. No more, no less.
