Most apprenticeship and entry-level interviews in the UK use the same 12 questions, in different wording. Practice these and you'll walk in calm.
The 12
- Why this role?
- Why this company?
- Tell me about a time you finished something hard.
- What's a skill you've taught yourself?
- What's something you've failed at?
- How do you take feedback?
- Where do you want to be in 2 years?
- Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with someone.
- What do you do when you're stuck?
- What would your best friend say is your biggest weakness?
- Do you have any questions for us?
The one trick that works
For every behavioural question (1–11), use Situation → Task → Action → Result in 60–90 seconds. No more, no less.
