Where to donate: help young people find their first job
Looking for a good cause or youth program to support, wherever you live? Here's the problem, what your gift pays for, and the honest small print.
The problem
In the UK, 981,000 young people aged 16–24 (13.0%) were not in education, employment or training in April to June 2026 (Office for National Statistics). Without experience, contacts or a CV, many don't know where to start.
What your gift pays for
- A personal career map built around the young person's goal and location.
- Help writing a first CV and cover letter.
- Checked jobs, apprenticeships and training opportunities.
All of this is free for young people. Sponsorship starts at £25.
Giving from the US or abroad
Anyone can sponsor by card from any country, in British pounds. Shine isn't a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or a UK charity, so your gift isn't tax-deductible. Local tax rules apply where you live.
A positive cause: young people's first steps into work
Shine helps 16–24 year olds in the UK build a CV, plan a route and find real roles. Free for young people. Sponsorship from £25 pays for that support. You can give from anywhere in the world by card.
Shine AI Ltd (company no. 16414940) is a purpose-led UK company, not a registered charity. Gifts to Shine don't qualify for Gift Aid or charity tax relief.
